Project description
To develop and implement an export strategy for a Swiss food retailer who had so far only operated inside Switzerland.
How we went about it
In an analysis of the product range, ifm Food Marketing first defined those products that were intrinsically suitable for export and drew up a precise correlation between markets and products. We created a totally new brand for the products for export. ifm chose the retail partners and importers, and we implemented all the concepts ourselves and controlled the processes, functioning as the client's interim management.
Result
Within the space of 5 years, our client built up exports to 16 countries totalling CHF 25 millions.
